So I got to have a new art project in school because I just finished my last one. I'm going to be painting and designing a logo on my PS2, but I'm not set on which PS2(Slim or Phat) I want to paint, or even what base color. I want to do white, but I think its a little overdone with the painting of the console. So, what's everyone's opinion? Oh, I will also be painting the memory card and the controller as well so that the theme carries...
pink with green sparkles
put loads of little mirrors on it and make it a disco ps2..... or you can turn it into a water feature
make it a gow theme ps2
Make a FF Themed PS2
You could always paint it with like PS1 and PS2 logos all over the thing...
maybe paint it wil yellow with pink bubbles all over it, lol

anyways phat ps2 is the best choice since its bigger and more room for paint jobs, you can paint it like ff7 cloud black ps3
make it look like a wii :p
j/k

and I'm not into FF(unless you meant firefox, that would be unique!) and I'm right now doing a rendition of some sony logos and the PS2 buttons...

Haha, again a cool idear, but no pink. and I'm gonna start with my phat, if I want to do some more, I'll paint my slim to match.

Lmao, that would look so awesome! Wish I could do that...
Haha, okay so I know what I'm doing now. I cut out a square from the top of the console and I'm going to be placing a piece of plexiglass as a flip top so one can see the disc spinning and also play burnt games. I have went through and taken apart my memory card, controller, and casing for the PS2, and sanded down everything that said "sony" or anything else that was writing in the plastic that was either sticking up from the plastic or inprinted into it. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to be painting everything orange, and I will be also painting the PS Network Icon really big on the rest of the top of the PS2. I like my plans and will be commencing the paint job probably tomorrow, I still need to get the paint and the plexi. More updates with pictures will be coming soon, so stay posted!
Okay, so I have been working at my PS2. I had sprayed the body with a coat of plastic primer, and then began to spray the inside of the body with the fluorescent orange paint that I had bought. It didn't work, and the paint began to, I'm not sure how to describe it, but it started spider webbing. It wasn't going to work. So, my dad brought it up to his work, a car garage and tow center, and sprayed it up there. Pics included....[attachment=2765][attachment=2766][attachment=2767]
With the first pic, you can kinda see what I was talking about with the spraypaint and what it had done to the inside of the body.
