Im currently playing Final fantasy x for ps2
And i suck :P badly But im getting there,
This game is hard for me soooo
I know there is like gameshark and
I think they call it here in australia, action replay,
So iv been told from ebgames ect ect
Uh -__-
My question is
is there a way i can download this Action replay or Gameshark thingy,
To my ps2? with having to get those modchip thingys,
I googled and they said i needed this disc called magic swapping or something,?
you guys are smart is there a way to do it with out all that stuff?
Uhhh... how is that game hard...? ... but I am like pretty early in the start, so if it gets much harder later, I wouldn't know.
I'm playing on emulator (just playing normally, not cheating), and it's easy. The only hard FFs are like the really early NES ones.
Okay? well i find it hard
I don't really care if you's find it easy,
Though the older ones "hard" cause the average player has to train - in a sense, they're really more repetitive. Final Fantasy, at least the later ones, is really more about finding combinations (or glitches) than skill.
Having trouble? Try a game guide:

That's what I typically do. Or since it's an RPG, just train more >_>
Can't help you with the memory hacking devices since I don't have a PS2.

Finding combos and glitches? Not really neccessary.
In some FFs (e.g, FF8), it's so goddamn easy that you really don't need anything to win. I mean they do like 100 damage to you a hit. You have 6000HP. You do 2000 damage to them a hit, they have 10000 HP... How to loose, like not possible. Some bosses are somewhat annoying, like the ones that 1 shot characters (ultima weapon, final boss and his shockwave pulsar...), but still not that hard of a game.

Are you trying to say it's more about skill then?!
And FF4/5/6 were later than the NES ones...
Your looking for swap magic, but if you have a Slimline PS2, you'll need to do a case mod to get a flip lid cover so that it will work correctly
Alternately, if you have a PS1 game and a fat PS2, you could look into the Smod posted in Yoyo's thread

I'm saying it's neither. It's just so watered down that a primary school kid could beat it without finding it hard.
