But i don't have an actionreplay ? is there a way to do this with out the actionreplay disc!

burn an iso of magically obtain an action replay disk?

pssst i have downloaded it in torrent and its working

anyways one in your party should have hastega and before the fight HP should be in max, i think i beat it in about 30 mins or so

i beleave ps2 can't play burnt games normaly slushy,

I know But this monster half way threw its life casts something to slow you down
So you can't use haste,

I believe that is why you get an iso....
a proper iso usually has all the regular protection on it...
ps2 protection isn't that hard to fake
at least I don't think

Well, you're gonna have to buy an Action Replay MAX. Once you get that, you can hack your PS2, anyway, but you still need ARMAX (or Gameshark, but I used ARMAX). Softmodding is a lot easier than a modchip, since ya don't have to open up the PS2.

With a Slim PS2, you don't need a fliptop if you softmod it and put Free McBoot v1.8 on it (it adds extra options on the main PS2 menu).

My point is, any way other than buying a modchip, you're gonna HAVE to buy a cheating device (preferably ARMAX). A thing called ESR comes with Free McBoot, and if you patch your ISO before burning to a disc, you don't need to do the swapping method to play burnt games.
