Its not pen holder that is important..but the fact that it is made of wood from one of the few ships in the 1800s that did NOT transport slaves.  A similar gift was given to USA president in 1890, but the wood was made into a desk... It might even be the same desk President Obama signed his stimulus package which is the same desk where President Clinton got his package stimulated!!!!!!!!

Now..did  that stupid sounding pen holder actually took some time and thought to create and give.  Obama's gift ain't realy spoon compared to that.  :(

Too much of America is fixated on the fact that he is your "nigga" (when in fact he has no african roots, hes just a dark muslim) and he is going to save us all, and not that he is human being who may or may not fullfill the natural born citizen requirement to sit as president.  :P

And to me this all is some real funny spoon, cause in 15 years when this poor little 1.5" tadpole that is currently growing in my wife's uterus is in government or history class learning about the mishaps of 2008 and 2009, wee will all look back at these times and together

THEN...wee can also cry that after the mayor of Los Alamitos FORWARDED an email that he received containing this picture

and the caption "No Easter Egg hunt this year." and some cranky bitch that he thought would get a giggle out of it became offended and called him out in public, he decided to step down from his elected position in office :(

That's one of the first things that I was thinking when I read that article. I also don't really like all of this hub bub over having a "black" president. I didn't vote for him(I voted third party, a guy can dream, can't he?) and it looks as if he is making things worse for us Americans. I've been seriously thinking about moving to another country, because the fact that our economy is in the shiter, which means that our healthcare is going to go even more through the roof than it already has, and our country being one of the only ones that doesn't offer a free healthcare program because its "socialist." Big. Fucking. Deal. I love the freedoms that I am granted for being an American, but America Fucking sucks right now. Lolz, wee have a foreign exchange student from Slovakia attending here this year, and even she has said that America sucks, lolz
