Endless Paradigm

Has megaupload speeds changed for you??  Today I went to upload something & it was over 500MB.  I was able to upload this in a matter of  1 second!!!!  I thought that maybe my page errord out somehow...  SO I downloaded it took me ten minutes & extracted everything & it all works!!! O_O

Is this the same for anyone else?  I have uploaded 10 things within the 500MB area . but all take only a second for me.. ?!?!?!  I tried a 1.4GB upload & it bogged down & was uploading 1MB per sec.  Stuff that use to take me an hour or so is instantly uploaded ?!?!

Anyone else experience this?

You theoretically shouldn't be able to upload 500MB in 1 second. That would require a 4gbps connection. Your home connection? Not even close.

I don't know what happened, maybe someone already had that exact file uploaded, and MU simply fed you the link?

I know & believe you, I am shocked, I uploaded a 846MB file just now in 3 seconds flat!!!  I would even let you remotely connect to my PC so you can watch me do it!!!  I don't understand it...?!?!

I re-downloaded one of the files & it wasn't even corrupt nothing wrong at all...

Actually, I've never done it either, so I don't know the tools for it.

BUT I have seen many people do it before. Micky (here on EP) has only very recently done it to prove he can upload stuff at decent speeds. Maybe ask him?

ill help, its very easy, uploading's the hard part, but with your crazy speeds it should be easy ;p

Can barely see the video >_>  Use something like CamStudio to capture your video. (and upload a good quality shot - don't use their SWF thing)

Anyway, possibilities:
- Transfer cut off - can you download the file without corruption?
- Caching, but unlikely for a 600+MB file
