Okay, so I'm perusing that "welcome thread" for the new chick that everyone is going gaga about for some reason, and I come across this border upon to the top of my page. I go "huh?" at first, realize what it is, then start to get a little happy when I think that I may now be a mod. I know, laugh it up. but hey it could happen, especially if Barack Obama can be our president. But anyhow, It wouldn't let me go anywhere after I clicked on it, saying that I don't have permission for that part of the site.

Yeah it is a forum bug, I don't know why users can see when a thread is reported. you are not the first to notice/think this. Sorry if it got your hopes up
