...my monitor has no contrast
Lcd laptop monitor
I have to move the screen and look at all kinds of angles

i lol'd. at most of them.

i just LOL'd so hard at #3
the only one i spotted "/

I used IrfanView to do that :P  Right-click » Copy image » run IrfanView » paste into IrfanView » hit Shift+G and slide the Gamma slider.

I'm too lazy to do that

In fact, same can be done in PS, Picassa, PDN and what not. However, it does not beat the fact that I'm too lazy!! I'll take all your word for it!
