Echochrome is one of the best games I've played in a long time :)
I recommend The Wire to watch as it is a great cop drama and each episode is an hour long. Also if you like comedy then watch Weeds and convert it!! It is really funny.

Rear Window - Old film but so great.
Disturbia - Modern teen version of Rear Window, but is still really good :D
Leon - Great action
Way out West - Hilarious Laurel and Hardy
Knocked Up - LOL
District 13 - Epicly poo poo story but the action is great and awesome free running :P

Some Trance... period.
Some Hip Hop/ Rap, if you like that. (I don't listen to any one except to Eminem, that too a few)
Some Nu Metal (Linkin Park, SOAD, Radiohead etc)
Some Japanese (Esp. Aqua Timez. Azumi will guide you better)
Some mix genre of Rock (various artists. the best way is to download the latest Billboard 100, Modern Rock etc)
and a few Reggae, Blues etc.

some of those homebrews are better than the PSP's commercial offerings.
