So the guy, in the aftermath of his little argument and epiphany, has one last thing he needs to ask of her.
The picture that he took of her, the one she used on her ad, was taken during one of the happiest days of their friendship, the day they went to the Salt Lake City Temple Square. It's a day that he will never have again, and as such, the picture means a lot to him. That picture has a lot of emotional significance for him. The fact that the girl he loved is using it to advertise herself to other men is heart-breaking. So, he kindly asks her if she would take it off the ad. He doesn't care about the ad itself, but the fact that that picture is with it hurts.
She simply says "No."
The guy asks again, explaining that it has emotional significance to him, all while being nice and calm. This time, she starts lashing out, saying that he's being petty and immature. At one point, she says he's acting like a "jealous boyfriend," an insult she's used before. That hurts him. Deeply. This is a guy that loved her like no other. He gave her the world on a silver platter. If he feasibly could have, he would have married her. Finally, though, after more back and forth, he gives up.
"Good night."
