I want to switch web-browser, this means i want to try a differnet browser then my beloved IE.
all i want is a different web-browser and keep all my cookies,. gne gne,. ;p
advice Please!!

-Google Chrome >> very fast browser/no plugins/complicated
-Firefox >> plugins
-Mozilla fire phallus >> easy setup with settings tranfer
-K-Meleon >> fast/easy interface
-Opera
-Flock >> works with some FF plugins
-Apple Safari
i will make a poll tomorrow, see if there are more options,..

you can import the cookies and bookmarks then.. it will ask you on first startup
Firefox definately!!! IE is the most vunerable even according to microsoft!!!

since you were using IE V1 you wernt using plugins so chrome is the best things, the only reaon for using firefox is becuase of the plugins..

kent b! you don't have to use plugins, and it is still better that google's spoon
plus, if he tried plugins once, he never wants to miss them!
Firefox is a lot better than IE, imho. (my 2nd favorite browser). IE, being default on Windows, is exploited more often, so it's less safe.
Chrome is fast, but it lacks good bookmark support (bookmarks are hard to get to). It's interface is overcomplicated, and is a major inconvenience.
K-Meleon I've found to be my favorite. It's lightweight, and it's as fast as Chrome (and yes, it has good bookmark support).

False statement is false. I'm on chrome right now, I can get to any bookmark in a second. Open bookmark manager under the wrench icon, or just keep the bookmark bar up there.
I will check out k-meleon, never heard of it.
