somebody chocolates on -hacks on every offshoot forum I've ever been to.  it gets old seeing people complain, bitch, and  moan, and then not do anything about what they feel is so bogus.  but this is none of my business.  i bid you adieu
I like -Hacks. :@

Mostly....
I kinda enjoy -Hacks too :P  Odd place, but meh.

People are free to have their own opinion :D

I personally don't like people complaining about this and that (what's the point?), but then, I don't care either, in a sense.
BluDevil Wrote:what's the differ with admin/mod on PSP-Hacks?? how much more power?

Administrators are able to manipulate any accounts and boards as they desire basically.

They can access and log in as any user for example. Also they can view an IPs. Admins are also able to Ban or add access limitations to any user.

What they do can vary from board type to board type really.

PSP-Hacks?

Never heard it? =P
admin me!
^ I don't think they would do it by just contiously "admin me!"
No that'll only encourage them not to Admin you >_>
Exactly the idea of this :P

Oh well, seems like no-one really understood all the irony... :(

For PunBB, Administrators can add/delete/manage forum categories, announcements, general settings (eg whether to show online list or not), user groups settings (ie post flood time etc), full control over users (eg changing another user's signature, post count etc etc), user titles, and so on.
You'll rarely need to ever do any of the above though, (unless someone requests a title change, lol).

Moderators have limited access to the administration pannel - they can ban users, add word filters, search users and view/zap reports (when you report a post).
Alright. That's it. I'm running for Greg. Everybody put it in their sig.
