Goodbye PSP scene...

English: With this little post I say goodbye to PSP scene officially.
The reasons are essentially three: first of all, I never have free time to spend for this console development, because of the study and a real life more chaotic and stressful, as well as interest turned to other platforms.
Another reason is that I don't touch a PSP from many months, an "interesting" game is not released from about a year in Europe... and then in PSP scene exists all you need, all has been coded, so I consider it as a "finished" and very very boring panorama.
At the end, some things happened in PSP scene during last days deeply impressed me, because I understood (a more time again...) as the PSP scene is ill, with its "boss", its "smarts" and its "lamers".

For this and other reasons I officially annouce my retirement from the scene: there will be NO updates to my tools, so please stop to ask for them using my email address.
I will continue with the development of tools for other platforms (Windows, WII, Linux, ecc...) and I will keep updated this my personal website, so stay tuned! ;)

that's what i was thinking, i think its time to let the psp go now.
Goodbey! and thanks for all the stuff you did for the PSP!!

Only thingy i still miss is a "random month color" hack or plugin,.. instead of monthly colors,.

I don't know about that.  The only thing that could make me forget about my PSP, would be a better hand held console - in terms of technology, and homebrew capabilities.

The way I see it, is the best is still yet to come:
DaedulasX has once again raised our hopes of fullspeed N64 emulation on PSP...
DaRk_AleX is yet to unleash Utopia...

Even commercial releases (contrary to popular belief)
Just a few top shelf games coming to PSP:

1) Little Big Planet
2) Resistance Retribution
3) Gran Torismo Portable
4) Monster Hunter Freedom:  Unite

I like a recent quote made by Schmilk:

SchmilK Wrote:I will never give up on the PSP as a gaming or graphical canvas.  And now more people are stepping up with some great insight on everything related to the firmwares and programming...

Right on Schmilk  [Image: biggrin.gif]
thanks for all the good stuff bro RS.
I'm surprised RS didn't release the sources to his PSP projects, as he will no longer be updating them...

Very true, the PSP is (almost) perfect now, since the last goal is impossible.... *cough* PS2 Emulator *cough*
