I feel so happy that through my calculations ( may not be perfectly accurate) I have found how far into macro I can actually go using my current equipment.
Using my dedicated macro lens (Sigma 70mm) I can reach life time 1:1 TRUE macro, in other words, the length of whatever I am photographing is the same length of my cameras sensor. So ~22mm long, pretty good but still I would like to go further, so I got my 50mm prime lens and stick it on the front element of my macro lens REVERSED. This game me magnification of 1.5:1 or 1.5x life size or something 14mm in length.
Using my 200mm Telephoto zoom, with my 50mm prime in front got me magnification of an orgasmic 4:1 or 4x life size, I can take a photo of something, so close to my lens, so magnified, that the whole photo (12MP) is of something only 5mm or 1/2 a cm in length. That's just orgasmic to me, just look at an example, not really real nor made by me, of a 4:1 macro

This is just me releasing my happiness, if you don't understand or care about macro photography then sorry :)
Too bad this happiness is still stifled by me being sick.
