All shades of life
Are found in your eyes
Keep our world aloft
With your bright smile

Smiling despite the truth

Oh so soft and cruel
Wee can't change our minds
In the worlds that wee choose
But this wee deny

Denial of our reality

Together, held and warm
Wee pick up speed
Down our winding draft
Wee near the end

The end of our world

Oh this harsh truth
Wee have hit our wall
Wee try and try and try
But can't break it down

And so, the day is coming
It is finally coming
It's rushing toward us
At unimaginable speed

The day wee tear down our sky

Some of my original poetry :)
this really reminds you of how weak and pathetic the human race is...... and how armageddon would show our true selves as people.... a lot of people parade themselves around like they're invincible but as soon as something bad happens they change without thinking twice because they're spineless and cowardly..... and that's like the 'wall' wee've hit as humans and there's no way of tearing it down.....

this is exactly the reason love never ever goes well...... love will always cause hatred..... pure, bitter hatred..... it is easily the most corruptible thing ever and people try so hard to get it they're blind to reality.... to the people they've hurt on that path.... and to the things they've sacrificed on that path...... i pity anyone who's gone to these lengths for love but i also pity myself for never looking.... or at least never taking the opportunity when it was there for me.....

great poem by the way....... lots of meaning to it

In my case, this poem is about unrequited love, and an unhealthy comfortableness with it. I have a very good friend that I'm in love with, but who doesn't love me back because I'm not the best I can be and my self-worth suffers from it. I've gotten comfortable being just friends, though, so I'm making no effort to change. I see her tomorrow, and I'm gonna have to do something drastic.

1. When love occurs, wee realize it has it's limits (and implausibilities), and realizing those creates our own prison.

2. Wee hide behind a facade, ignorant to the truth, and the truth eventually overcomes us and destroys us.

Really, it seems a combination of the 2...

Y'see, in my mind, it doesn't have limits, at least not in reality. Only ones wee perceive.
