Can understand boot time, but what do you mean by "load times"?  App load times?  Could be improved Superfetch or something similar.  Wonder how it compares to loading apps from a RAMDisk...

faster load times refers to the overall time taken for a program (like firefox to load after a fresh boot.) so yeah. App. load times.

I checked today that Win7 takes up about 400-450 MB RAM after booting up. This is a way less than 600 + needed by Vista.

damn it... it BSODs more than Vista and XP combined.

But then again, its just a Beta. I tried sending MS an error report, but got that "this copy of Windows is not genuine. To fix... blah blah".

But I've lost interest in this version of 7 as the 64 bit is out and am about to download it. I do note however, that most application cracks, will not work in 7, they being very OS specific.
