by the way, its proven that maxing out the RAM improves your HDD's lifespan and the duration of the battery on laptops
that makes sense. more RAM=less page file usage and therefore less HDD usage.
sweet.. so what are 64bit's advantages?
more performance for things that use large amounts of RAM/large files on your HDD. So multimedia editing and some gaming will be faster.
might give it a go..
but compatibility is my main worry.
