Remember when I wrote an article about a week ago stating that Sony has no plans for a new PSP? Scratch that. Apparantly, there are in fact plans for the PSP2. Apparantly, there are already three game producers who are developing games for the non-existant PSP2. If these rumours really are true, then maybe the PSP2 isn’t too far away! There are other rumours surfacing too including ones that say that a PSP-4000 might not be too far awayeither. According to the rumours, Sony will improve the current PSP by doing what they’ve been doing to the past 3 PSPs - making them slimmer, lighter, and giving them a better LCD, and then going even further with that.

Of course, these are all rumours and honestly, don’t get your hopes up. Even IF these rumours are true, the PSP2 might not even come out until late next year/early 2010. Also, you have probably noticed that the past few “upgrades” on the PSP haven’t been spectacular. Oh well, let’s just hope that Sony has been listening to its fans and comes out with something great for the next PSP.

If it actually is happening hacking might not be as easy seeing as sony 'learnt' their lesson...
if that indeed is the PSP2, then it looks like poo poo. But two analog sticks will be awesome.
Yeah...if that came out i would refuse to buy it...who would want to be seen in public with that XD
Yeah, two analog sticks would be awesome. But that looks....Puke
i hope to god they don't bring out a new one...... all the attention will  be turned to hacking those and anyone with the old psp will be left out

it may be a good thing though because sony won't worry about what happens to the original psp and wee can hack them in peace
The Silver on the back look awfully like the sony tga wave.
I don't care how it's shape will be or anything else, all that matters, playing any PS2 game ripped from your "own" discs^^
