check blocksize of last picture that works.

The last picture that works is the very last picture.  Attached is the 1-12.bmp that I used.  Could you please test or see what I'm doing wrong if possible?
Havent messed with my psp in a long time, gonna try this out.

Thanks for the tut! It took too long to go through each wallpaper to pad so I stuck with one I really liked which worked fine except that every other color I chose shows a white background for both classic and slim waves. I then have to reboot the PSP for the wallpaper to show with the color I wanted.

I think I'm messing up when trying to hex edit the jpg, my Hex Workshop's layout looks different then yours.

hex workshop you can extend the columns like I have done, also as long as the padding is done right and matches with base.jpg and file size it should work ;) also are your resources ok? test with my batman theme 30pics 01-12 and see if all images appear for your theme

glad you finally got it working :-)  the blanking is normal, you just have to double select the wallpaper and it will display fine ;)

it is regrettable that the XBM depends on both parameter and it did that so little resource

it is compatible with CFW 352-500, so you should be able to edit your 401 vshmain.prx

If you want an easy solution for having the "classic" wave infront of a high res pic,. here is a system_plugin_bg.rco i made yesterday wich enables a classic wave infront of a background picture,. when you set a picture in photo menu as background,. ;p

just drop this rco in flash0:/vsh/resource

sorry to say but i think highboy's PSP Wallmaker v1.A does all this for you all you have to do is select the 30 photo's you want and set the resolution to 480x272 it can also fix the vshmain for you!
