MS from ebay = trouble
See, i don't bother with anything higher than a 4GB though
For example, from Amazon, an 8GB runs ay about £32 direct from them (sellers tend to send me fakes, which i just send back and moan about). A 4GB, straight from Amazon, is £13...i surrently have 5 4GB's and may invest in another at some point, but although an 8 is appealing, its expensive, and kinda pointless as i have a 20GB mp3 for flat out storage

That's about it really.
ummm...i can run time machine with the 1.50TME custom firmware or 1.50/3.40 hybrid that TM installs, then use resurskilinski to mess with .rco files wihtout a problem on my 8gb.
I can also put my 8gb into a phat with 5.00 and 1.50 kernel and run a REAL old 1.50 homebrew for remote controlling Robosapiens without a problem?!?
So what part of the 1.50 homebrew doesn't work?
If i try to enable USB via TimeMachienon the 8gb i see nothing but corrupt folder and files...but then it works fine when i am back booting from nand.
Didn't know time machine could do that - am guessing you're limited to 4GB though?
Thanks for mentioning it :)
didtn DA release a patch that enabled full compatibility for 8 gig sticks some time ago? try googling it
@Roberth,
I have a 30gb mp3. It is FULL of music. I have 2 2gb memsticks which are FULL of games, etc. this is why I'm getting an 8gb.
@Games like a Grrl,
the 8gb sandisk works out to Aus $92.90, plus tax and shipping.
so there, :)
i got a 16gb memory stick and things work fine.. (might be becasue it's a mark2 type)
at least it was $120
ive been using an original sony 8gb memstick since the time of it released then after a couple of months the mark2 memsticks comes out, i wish i have wait for this one,
and still 8gb is still small for my videos, music, games, etc
by the way, 8gb and 16gb original memstick can also be used as a magic memstick,
even sony sucks, i still do own sony's memsticks, hehehe
