Okay, so Exbu helped me out with the backgroudn with wave thing.
But now i want another picture, Exbu took my jpeg image and changed it to a bmp image and it turned out to be smaller then my original jpeg, how is that possible? I thought bmp are lager then jpeg O_O
Perhaps the bit depth was reduced.
I dunno. ExBu?
Sure it's BMP? It could be a JPEG renamed as a BMP.
Note: here's a simple way to calculate size of a BMP (24 bit):
54 + (3 × width × height) bytes.
(edit: actually, I'm not too sure if it's "3" or "4" but it should be around that size)
So if it's not that size, well, it's not a BMP ;)
Ya still tring to do this lol,
look you get your original .bmp file
then save it as a .jpg
finally rename the extension as .bmp
that's all i did.
How can i rename the extension without it changing back to a bigger bmp?
All im getting is 01-12.bmp.jpeg....arg
What did you use to rename the extension? cause when i try there is no extension to rename O_O
Disable file extensions? Tools » Folder Options » View » Untick hide file extensions
Yeah, i just figured that out. lol.
You can close this thread not, i don't think i will be having many more questions about my background with wave....Thanks
