Well this is a definite first ever since I re-installed my computer. Last night, Firefox was working fine. After then, I went to sleep and my bro got on the computer. I thought he had left the computer on like I do so I figured no biggie.

The only thing is that when I wake up this morning, the computer is off, and nothing in the whole house shows that the fuse tripped or anything. So as I go to turn on my computer, and log in, I find out that my bro installed that piece of spoon called AIM. (I had found that out as well but was already in bed) So I uninstall AIM, and the toolbar and all the other spoon you can possibly imagine. Now, when I try to load FF, I get some sort of Javascript error related to the toolbar, and it crashes and restarts in a constant loop.

Not helping, I went to safe mode. Disabled everything, uninstall the AIM Toolbar extension, and rebooted it in normal mode.. Still doesn't work. Now, it just crashes/starts in a constant loop.

Plan C - System Restore - Restored it to Friday morning (early Friday morning, when nobody is using the computer - 5 AM hehe) and that went through. Still doesn't work. No JS error but now, FF or Safe Mode FF doesn't want to boot, and it crashes in 3 seconds, and then starts again. I figured that this would be stupid since I reinstalled Firefox and that it would be using a new profile. That's not the case though. >.<

Plan D - Now my only way to get onto the internet is via IE and Opera and wee all know the case with IE. So, I need my FF fixed. Nanana Like I said before, it worked perfectly with all plugins until last night. I want it back!!! EPigs (Do wee still call them that?) for grabs.

And for those saying to go ask my bro - It's ok, I know the rubbish he does. As far as using the computer goes now, its suspension leading into probation for him. I've done it before to him and I can do it again. :D

Thanks for the help
search in the extensions folder in the firefox folder for the toolbar and del it
Still doesn't work :(
I think this happened to me before...ask him if a firefox update came up when he was on the internet and then check the plugins I think? Sorry I can't explain more....I'll try and remeber for you...
Hmm.... even if you reinstalled FF, it might still be using your old Profile, do the following:
Start Firefox.exe with the command -P, like doing a shortcut and then add -P to the target properties. Now a new small Window should come up where you can create a new profile.

Hope that helps.
Eh, it was something related to the profiles.

I had to delete my whole profile in order for Firefox to work again. Anyways, thanks for the help guys.
