So yeah back to topic. Does vista eat up more RAM then XP? Because that would mostly the factor for my hate/love. (Let this super quote-age continue!)
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey....it wasn't supposed to look like an egg >:(

Really the only annoying thing that I find with it is whenever I run a .exe file it comes up with this screen that asks if I want to open it or not....and also some progs don't work like CS4 >:/
its only the programs that may be messing the vista

Start > control panel > Search for "UAC" > untick box and restart,
it'll never come up again

See...and that's what people complain about...start LEARNING what the new OS can do and it becomes wonderfully better!
For example, you want to remove those mesages? Disable the UAC by running msconfig - tools - click disable uac and then run...poof...now your system and less questionable and more vulnerable like windows xp :P
but seriously...So many people have so many negative thoughts for no reason at all! Perhaps they read a blog that said vista sucks..maybe they used it for a week and said it sucks...
When it comes down to it, if you encode videos, play games, transfer files across the local network..ITS ALL FASTER!!! Granted, you need a core2duo and 2gb ram starting for best results...and yeah..some people would think 'new OS needs new hardware...skrew it that means it sucks' No, its mostly those poeple's computer which sucks. LOL I have a pentium 4 3.8ghz laptop with 3gb ram...its a little slow once in a while, but its still way better when it comes to crunch time than XP is, and my computer at home is a core2duo 3.0ghz e8500 with 4gb ram, and fudge balls and apple snakes it BLOWS AWAY xp performance in every aspect!
CS4 probably requires you to change the data execution provention settings...but there is no reason it should not work...i havent tried it yet...got my box sitting at work waiting for me to install...
PEACE

i disabled the UAC after installed. Vista complains no more :D

That. Hated that soooo much. And even when I run as admin, I seem to have to have problems doing exactly what I want. I spent about two months on it back when it first came out, I think it was Joe over at -Hacks and Cesar who tried helping me figure a bunch of it out, may have bugged Zingy too, finally gave up.
