heh, current price to value ratio of blu-ray is horrible
I'd wait a while until the prices go down a bit before buying

O_O No wai!
I got the burner for $219.
Then again, it was $13 for 1 BD-RE so I only bought 4.
I've refused to watch any DVD or XviD rip if it has a Blu-ray counter part. I can no longer stand the low quality.
And if you've seen my rig and room, you know I have money to blow.

I don't mean the burner (which is a one off payment anyway). I mean the disks.
$13 for a single disk is terribly expensive... That's like 50c/GB. DVDs are like less than 10c/GB.
Although it would be more convenient to store more data on a single disk. (I have way too many DVDs at home). Bluray still isn't big enough though. If my whole pile of DVDs were BDs instead, it's still a lot... Need these hologram disks, or maybe the insanely insanel crazy protein coated disk...

Download the blu-ray rips instead then. :)
They're usually huge (in filesize) though :(
