My nintendo wii won't find my wifi even though its right next to it and i have my upstairs computer connected to the network via wifi. Help please
are you sure your Router isn't in an invisible mode?

Have you tried manually inputting the details rather than an Auto search?
I don't know what my dns servers are and i don't have a static i.p put down. Also how do see if its in invisable mode on a Netgear WPN824v2
go to (for example) 192.168.0.1 (ie...your routers IP address). Go into whatever option mentions your SSID, and either write down your SSID, or enable droadcasting if its disabled

^ that, and for the DNS details etc.

Go to the computer that's connected with the WiFi, click Start, go to Run, type "cmd", hit enter.

When the Command Prompt appears, type 'ipconfig' and hit enter.

It SHOULD be labeled under 'Wireless Local Area Connection 1' or something similar - but the details you need should be there.
Ohhhh thanks I will try that.

hmm.. then use the WiFi from the router/extender!!!

lol..

Spoiler:
sad I know!
I think i fixed it but its not a good fix, basicly i think the wii had issues with the WPA key i set even thought its ment to compatible with the ecryption so what i did was turn the excryption off and it worked.
odd...last i checked my Wii supported WPA...do you have the latest update?
erm i got it at 3.1 i think cause i just soft moded it
