I have a pair of Sony MDR-NC40's. awesome headphones. period. but at £50 ($90ish) they're a little expensive. Or if you want budget try the Philips SHP2500. decent sound, insanely cheap (£10 or $18) for what you get, indestructable, but they do have a 6m cable which you'll need to trim down. if you're handy with a soldering iron then it shouldn't be too hard. if not then look elsewhere...
I think that Skullcandys are pretty decent. and nice Sig PSPKiller.
The Apple stock earbuds suck donkey, but their High Quality in-ear headphones kick donkey, and are actually cheaper than most others of its class.
Other than that, I use a Sony and Bose earbuds for maximum win.
