Quick look,..":

-the XMB osk is completely different,. the OSK_utility.rco is the same
-they have changed the 2nd vizualizer,. :)
-new original and classic preview picture in sysconfg_plugin.rco,. >> ?!?
-the screenshot plugin rco is updated!! so they are def gonne add this feature!!
-new timer icons in music_player.rco
-and offcourse loads of new topmenu icons!! :)

Yes in settings - theme - theme - there is original or classic, choose original and you have a new wave.  

I found in system_plugin_bg.rco there is a new pagedata entry called
page_default_theme2_3d...that HAS to be how the new wave is pulled in...unfortunately even changing the pagedata entry of

default_theme_model [0x80E]
from
[event]native:page_default_theme_3d_onInit
to
[event]native:page_default_theme2_3d_onInit

I still get the same wave as always :(  GRRRRRRRRR

well i flashed sysconf_plugin.rco system_plugin_bg.rco (original and the one i modifed as above) and custom_theme.dat and still don't get the waves :(

but

attached are decompressed rco :)

theme2 entry includes in vshmain.prx, but flashs vshmain will black screen...

not ALL offsts...but all the freakin good ones :(

I am hoping that they did away with duplicate location data between the rco and the prx...like xmenu and clock position, and those kind of stuff...where there was the same value in the rco as the prx, but changing the value in the rco did not affect the location in the xmb...i don't know...wee need more m33 in the 5.00 house...

nope...cause xmenu in topmenu_plugin is still -130 :(

heres the new osk that you can get to by pressing select 4 times...the T9 keyboard is the default..which i can type on WAAAAAAY faster than this full screen one :-/

Here is my guess: Sony has been optimizing the code of the XMB to take up less space and load faster. This means reusing, deleting, and relocating values. A 4.01 » 5.00 PRX convertor will probably be near impossible since it seems like everything in the code has changed. SchmilK had the idea that Sony may have made the XMB rely more on values in RCOs, which could be a strong possiblity. In that case wee won't really know until wee get our hands on 5.00M33. The values cannot just disappear. The XMB doesn't know where to move itself, wee all know that. So when 5.00M33 is out, there will be some big changes. Wee'll all need to look for the new values. If wee can't, themes will fall back to a level of customizability from 3.51M33.

prx offsets seem to be moved somewhere other than vshmain and paf for all the good icon positioning :(  GRRRR...looking into that now...

changing xmenu via topmenu_plugin will change the position when the psp boots, but after it exits it goes back to -130 :(

i searched for -130 as every type in hexworkshop and found nothing :(

photobrowser has none of hte offsets wee have come to love either...its very wierd..maybe there is more pagedata in the rco now...
