yes! its not a hack! You will be able to load games you own onto the hard drive, and play them off of the hard drive which will make the system quieter and using less energy i would imagine! i believe you will still need the dvd to start up the games though!

hmmm... that sounds like the ps3s install feature... it transfers 4gbs of infomation to the ps3 so all load times are reduced.
since the xbox has smaller games i would only think that it would be a small transfer.

Because they aren't letting people pirate games? I love it because I just install Halo 3 with a friend's disc and I'll no longer be unable to load half of the maps from that thing of mine that once resembled a Halo 3 disc.
