Depending on what tool you used, and what you flashed. Just keep the PSP plug in, with the "dead" battery in after some time the Slim batter starts charging. (might take 10 hours or more)
You can use a Fat PSP to flash a Slim battery the trick is you CAN NOT have the Slim battery in the Fat for more than 30 seconds, you can not do a full restore, or backup.
Hope it works out for you.
Enjoy
This happen to me. Leave in Slim charging, it should eventually work right, if not short it out. Search on google how, but only as a last resort.
thanks bro xero and bro mickey i try to "TAKTAK" (bump and bump on my desk) eventually it worked! i think it's just one of my lucky day!
but bro xero you have the closest explanation.
Your very welcome vinrose67 :)

It could be more, or less. The Fat PSP's are not made for a Slim battery, when the Slim battery is in a Fat, the PSP's checks, and the battery goes into "double you tee eff mode" till it's back is a Slim. I have flashed service mode Slim batteries many times in my Fat. Works every time, figuring out what caused the problem took me a long time. I use Cory149's kernel mode/service mode .62 tool I found that to work the best.

Yes, but I did say that >.>
- Let the Slim run for a little, so use see a charging light when plugged in.
- Put it in you Fat, if the orange light comes on your good to go. Take it out fast this is just a test.
- Run Cory's tool with a Fat battery.
- When your at the main menu swap the Slim battery, if the orange light does not come on stop....
- If it does, flash it to service mode, and pull it out as soon as it does. You will get some error messages, ignore that.
- Done.
the same thing happened to me exactly i made it a pandora in the fat...
which involved sanding down the bottom of the battery case to fit in the fat,
then the battery completely died, just left it outta the psp for a while and magicly started working again.
damn ta-85 v2 =P
its never going back to a normal battry lol
