omfg i came home yesterday from work and like all my files on my desktop are gone >.< also all my bookmarks and my psds and ALL of my graphic design work is there anyway i can recover it!!!!
im sooooo pissed off please any help is appreciated

Sure, check your PM. I used that tool to recover 400± MB of images from a USB HDD. It's a 14 in 1 tool. Depending on your needs, and it's a portable app ;)
look for a media recovery app, most stuff will be brought back if not permanently removed or damaged.
how the fudge did you manage that? what, you came home from work/school and your computer had decided to erase every trace of your usage. does anyone else use your computer? are the feds onto you for something?
anyways, follow everyone elses advice. see what you can get back. preferrably take the hdd out and put it in another computer and run the recovery app on that, so there's less chance of accindentally writing over something. i'd recommend that after you've recovered everything you want format the drive and re-install incase the filesystem/OS is damaged...

I access my Desktop through Start>Computer as I like a clear desktop XD
