Nope, this was fixed in 3.40 OE-A by using the recompiled 3.40 opening_plugin.rco.  I haven't tested it on 3.51 M33, but I would assume that using the recompiled 3.51 opening_plugin.rco would work just the same.  So you don't have to worry about broken PSX games anymore.

Is there anyway to maintain a bit of transparency in the text so that the waves seem to go through and over the text?

You can't have the waves go over top of the text using the opening_plugin.rco, but you can control transparency levels using the alpha channel.  But depending on how many colours are in the image and how many shades are in the alpha channel it might be very difficult to get it under 256 colours.

Here you go.  You didn't say what firmware you are one so I made two, one for 3.40 OE-A and one for 3.51 M33.  I'm on 3.40 OE-A though so I was only able to test that one, if you use the 3.51 version let me know of any problems.  Also the screenshot doesn't look as bright as the other one, the other one was brighter than how it looks on the PSP because I was using SVCapture (it just does that for some reason), the screenshot below is using a different plugin and shows exactly how it looks on the PSP.

To anyone else who wants one done: I will hopefully have more time soon to do more coldboots for people, lately I haven't had much time to work on Photoshop so everything I've been doing has been my own projects.  I don't know if everyone before xlsound had theirs done or not, so if you didn't then please post again and I'll try to get some time for it.  

To make things easier please say in your post what firmware you are using, what type of font you want (with a link to download it if it's a special font), the background line colour, what you want it to say, a description of how you want it to look (glows, borders, effects etc.), about how big you want it (base it off the size of ones that have already been done if you aren't sure), and whether or not you want a PM when it's done (I will still post it in the thread unless you ask otherwise).  If you don't include enough information, or I can't figure out quite what you want then I will either post in this thread or PM you, so if you make a request make sure you check any new posts in this thread and that your PM inbox isn't full.

hey there. can i please ask for a coldboot to be created for me! i would like the red line behind the text and any kind of good font that you would recomend... im using a windows theme (its a kind of red theme) and im 3.40 OE-A. Also would it be possible if u like added a coldboot sound aswell.

Hoping Peacefully Disturbed sees this, I'd like it like the example he showed earlier:



With "Yippee-ki-yay" blue, and the rest red.  I like how he blends the colors in it too.

Also, if there is a linky for a tut on how to screw with Alpha Channesl to do this, I'd be ever so grateful, so I can do these meself.
