I recently got windows 95 running on my psp using DOSBox (awesome). However, besides playing minesweeper and amazing friends, it is of little use. Any changes that you make are never saved (even if you shut down the system) and it is impossible to install programs or games. I want to install Age of Empires II (which is well within the system requirements of a psp slim) but i have no idea how to even put the game on my w95.img file or anything. Plus, if i use fakeCD, the installation will not save anyway, due to the fact that not even basic settings (i.e. wallpapers, appearance, screensaver) will stay. Any help would be very.... helpful?
as is, I don't think it's possible trademark
yeah .. its not ... otherwise win95 on the psp would be really popular :P
its not supposed to be like that. Its basically an emulation of win95 to show that it can be done. One possible way would be that you slipstream the game in the original win95 files so that it shows as a default game. but I dunno if that can be done/.
Ooh, I'd like to watch someone try to play an RTS on the PSP.
photonman?

The PSP was never meant to be a PC...

true... but isn't the whole point of modding to make something something else? isn't it to make things different, better? Plus if you look at the system capabilities of a PSP, especially the 2000 series, an early version of windows (3.1, 95) could be easily run...
