I'm trying to change the pic for the infobar on 4.01 m33, but with no success.  I tried using RCOEdit115 to replace tex_optionmenu_base (I think that's what you're supposed to change, correct me if I'm wrong), however, it just resulted in half my xmb disappearing and a completely transparent info bar.  Does anyone know how to do this properly?
Any one but probably all of these could be your problem

your icons are too large
you have too many colors in your icons
your infobar has too many colors

I'm using the system_plugin.rco from the Organ 4.01 theme.  The only thing I changed was that one icon.  I have it as a 480x272 8 bit bmp with the 160x272 portion of the pic I want a the left side, rest is black.  I'm definately doing something wrong, but I don't know what.

Edit:  Does it have anything to do with the fact that I didn't recompress it, because I can't x.x
Edit 2: Now I'm simply getting a completely transparent infobar.  Nothing wrong with my XMB anymore.  Also tried using just the 160x272 portion of the pic, but that doesn't work either.
arnt inforbars just meant to be 144x272 or has the prx not been cracked again?

144?  I thought it was 160.  I'll try that then.

Edit: Nope, still not working.  And, there are several themes in the themes section with infobars with pics, so it should work, just not sure how.
for your system infobar:
1. get common_gui.prx in any of my theme
2. save your infobar in PNG format if you don't know how to make alpha channel.
3. flash system_plugin.rco in your resource folder and common_gui.prx to your module folder.

for your second infobar on your theme settings:
1. get any syconf_plugin.prx on my theme
2  save your infobar in PNG format if you don't know how to make alpha channel.
3. flash sysconf_plugin.rco in your resource folder and sysconf_plugin.prx to your module folder.

I'm mainly interested in the system infobar.  After I save it in PNG format, I'm assuming that I should replace the icon within system_plugin.rco, then flash both?  Also, what dimensions does the infobar have to be?

Thanks~

Edit: Replacing with PNG forces me to replace it with a 32 bit GIM.  Result was a black info bar.

Is there any other way to do it besides replacing the vshmain?  Reason being I kind of like the one I have now, and I have already hexed quite a few things on it.
