[This one was to be used for EPVid but the audio bitrate was too much and it failed, so I used an alternative version with 128kbps; the video stayed the same]

Spoiler for Unimportant Detail:
The ef DVDs I used are particularly bad - there was junk at the top, left and right parts of the Video [removed in this encode] - and it has ghosts in it, which is considerably bad for a DVD press [Assassinator originally pointed this out when I was first experimenting with the DVDs]. I have managed to remove 4 Layers of ghosting, but there still remains 2 (or more) layers there, but they aren't particularly noticable and I was very happy with the produce at this point, so I hope you enjoyed the Video ^_^
sweet one sensei
also for you other people heres the even sweeter looking instrumental version its a different vid.
to bad i forgot to change res now im struggling at re-coding it widescreen and stopping the framerate lagging

You all know the ef visual novel OP completely owns any anime versions that exist.

Because it's extremely detailed and awesome, it's also extremely hard to compress. (So that version looks kinda bad)

I'll upload a better version tomorrow.

EDIT: HQ Version

It's common that there are junk on the sides, for anime DVDs. Most (like all) of the anime DVDs I have dealt with have them. Don't know why they don't cut it off (it's not like it'll take them that much effort). Maybe cause you can't see them anyway if playing on a TV. The movie DVDs don't seem to have that problem much.

O.o... I never said there was ghosting. From what I remember, there is no ghosting at all, each frame is actually perfectly clean in that respect. (Can I have a screenshot of that 6 layers of ghosting?)

(I did say there was some other problem. I'm sure you mean that instead.)

Framerate lagging... ???

I didn't want to get into the nitty gritty Sigh

You did say there was ghosting when wee were on IRC, I couldn't see it at first but managed to see what you were talking about it Darker Scenes with light portions.. DVD 6 helped in that respect since it starts the PV with a black and white portion - the ghosting was visible and I gave it a shot.. it looks better but there is only some left which I don't mind is there....

I definitely did not say there was ghosting.

Unless I'm going insane... or someone was posing as you when wee spoke of the DVD1 on IRC... it was definitely said \\ Otherwise why would I have looked at it in the first place?

Such details I would've never noticed.. beforehand.

Absolutely no-one in their right mind would undertake any process that would result in 6x ghosting.

You would never find a source like that.

And if there is really 6x ghosting, even if you were the best encoder in the world, you absolutely would not be able to remove 4 layers of the ghosting. You won't even be able to remove 1 layer.

EDIT:

Here's an example of 6x ghosting, that I created through avisynth. Because I don't have, and most likely never will, see a real sample of it.

Or at least I tried making it 6x... seems I can only see 4x in there... must have screwed up somewhere... use your imagination to make it 6...

I definitely did not say anything about 6x ghosting. 6x ghosting doesn't exist.

I never said you told me that there was six layers of ghosting... not did I confirm it precisely - it could be residue from cleaning lesser area of it.

The ghosting isn't that evident or extreme - its of a lightened source shifted slightly over a few pixels left and right, and from what I can see, there are different shades. That's all..

Give me an example?
