Endless Paradigm

I have always wanted to make a program that will show the data input from the microphone on my computer.

I figured if anyone knew how to do this they could explain how to capture the data and make an equalizer first...

Capture data » look into the Windows API.
Generate visualisations » mostly patterns generated by the waveform data.
