Life is like a yoyo. It goes up, it down, good and bad.

Good: I started a new diet/routine and I've already lost 5 lbs.

Good:I actually like school ZOMGWTF.

Bad: My mother is extremely unreliable - She asked if I could pick up dinner a few times this week, and she said she would pay me back. 3 dinners, all coming to about $90. She said she'd pay me back the next day, and not to worry about it. She didn't, and because of that one big charge (same restaurant, they batch all their charges), I had 4 TINY transactions go through (less than $2 each), getting $34 in overdraft fees EACH TIME. Luckily, she paid me back this morning, plus I had a teller who happens to be a family friend reverse 2 of the fees, but I'm still out $68. Frick

Good: Found a reasonably-priced Mac repair service. I have that new HDD, however, installing it would void the warranty, and there's no way in hell I'm throwing away my $350 3-year everything protection warranty. So I started looking for a place that would install my hard drive while keeping it in warranty. I tried this one place that my mom normally uses, called MacDocs, and they're insane. the service is $75 if you buy the HDD from them at an inflated price, or $120 if you have your own drive. Second, I tried Geek Squad. I'm not even gonna bother with their price quote, it was so stupid. Finally, I tried this little place by my school, called Simply Mac. They are officially awesome. Basically, they said they would install my new drive for a flat rate of $45. Yay! I get a new HDD and get it installed while keeping my warranty, for just about the original price of the HDD! (I got it at like a %25 discount)
