either that, or they just aren't generic enough to be accepted as "good" or "great" by the general public.

at least in my opinion. If they get you somewhere good for you, but the outlook is unlikely.

ok thanks for the criticism Gongxi

yeh slushba the fact he is using a 3mp phone camera has nothing to do with it

hes just posting them to show and is testing his camera a bit
don't go expecting it to be a dslr at least think about what you say first

by the way nice shots i own a nokia 3.2mp with a carl zeiss lens
quality doesn't matter when compared to a 5mp or sometimes an 8mp
most people use default but you can get great shots if you tweak the settings
and scale the image down

by the way heres 2 i have taken to test quality

i would but those are all defaults since the iphone has no camera or video options meaning no effects and no zoom O.o
Effects suck.
You need control on a camera. Like controlling shutter speed, aperture, ISO and everything you need.
well the  iphone doesn't have all that :/
All cameras have ISO, shutter speed, and aperture.
Just not all have the ability to change them.
As long as there is a sensor, a lens, and a shutter, you should have all that.
In case you don't know, ISo is the 'sensitivity' of the sensor. Just like when you buy film they sell different ISOs for the film.
Aperture is how large the opening on the lens is, larger opening = more light entering.
Shutter speed speaks for itself, how long the sensor is exposed to the light.
If you took a picture, you needed to use all 3.
In your case the phone just decided what to do for you instead of you doing it manually.
o ok yea that's what i have then lol
