Seeing as I am the resident EP Macfag/iTool, I figured I would take it upon myself to do a news post about the kickass new iPods introduced at Apple's "Let's Rock" event this morning.
I really, really, really, really want one of the new iPod Touches. Seriously, they're adding enough new features that it's not just a gimped iPhone.

I am quoting myself for no reason Wrote:First and foremost, iPod Nano 4G
A plethora of new colors, bigger screen, and bigger storage for the same price. Win.
8GB - $149
16GB - $199
Actually, these would be perfect for my brother.
iPod Touch 2G
My personal favorite.
8GB - $229
16GB - $299
32GB - $399
Also comes with the Nike+ thing built in.
iPod Classic
Killed off the $350 160GB version, upgraded the 80GB to 120GB, keeping the price at $250 (methinks to compete with the new Zune)
iPod Shuffle
It just basically got the Caribbean colors from the iPod Nano 2G. No big deal.
Last, but not least, iTunes 8
Now, wee all know that iTunes on Windows is filled with fail and aids, but for Mac users, it's the best media program out there. Basically, they now have a feature called Genius that lets you pick a song/artist/album, hit the Genius button, and it'll take a second to look through your selection, and generate a playlist from it. You can then save that playlist, or choose a new song/album/artist. It takes a looooooooooong time to set up the first time, but afte that it's quick and easy.
