as the above says.
for me its checking that the underside of my mouse is clean. the low-friction pads must be especially clean, because if they get covered in dust and spoon i find that the mouse doesn't move so easily, it sort of sticks to the desk after a few minutes of not moving it. the first thing I'll do when i sit down at a computer, home or school is scrape any dirt off the bottom of the mouse.
another one is whenever i go into my room and sit at my desk, even if the computer isn't turned on i will press the 'Play' hotkey on my keyboard because i can't hear any music eminting from the speakers. I can't stand being without music. even if its absolute horse bile i have to have a beat to synchronise my self to.
