About a month ago i took my wife, dog, and friend to a new skatepark that was over by our new house. Well it's been months since i had skated and i remembered how to ride, i just forgot how to go home after riding...When wee were done I kicked my board into the grass and walked over by Sarah adn the dog and cooled off for a bit, then wee packed up her stuff and wee WALKED back to the car. I got to the car and changed my shoes then took off my shirt to put on a dry one an dmy friend started laughing at my white chest and brown arms...so I quickly put my other shirt on got in the car and left...Then when wee got home and i pulled out some stuff from my trunk I noticed I was missing one skateboard.. :( ..Well the time has finally come and a friend of a friend owns a kick donkey shop out by me that sells skateboards and nitro fueled rc cars and trucks :O My kind of shop! :D http://www.myspace.com/thexshop
So i got a Goodwood skateboard that consists of a bamboo wood core rather than the standard pine, painted on the bottom is some zebra stripes! Its real light and stiff! Then i got some destructo trucks that have a sweet snake pattern to it and some bloody red wheels..well here take a look :D
Since it was made of bamboo i figured i should carve out a panda bear in the grip tape :P (yes all of the panda is grip tape, not a sticker)
SO i had to come to work early this morning (6am) and was all excited to hit up a park after work and damnit all...its raining... GRRRRR....
never seen the board before! i like the idea of bamboo core!!
and those destructos are sexy as hell!! destructos are the best turning trucks out there, and all that i will ever ride on!!

yeah i have rode tensor for the past 8 years and this shop was sold out so i tried the destructo since a few friends have rode those and loved them, plus the guy at the shop said they have a lifetime warranty and the 3 times he has had to deal with them they sent out brand new trucks the next day with a bonus surprise with each package!
nice!! im still trying to figure out what you did at about the 20second mark... looked like a big pop shuvit but can't tell!! Nice try on the cone ollie..lol j/k how old is the footage?

Don't know how much these bones could take but I'll give it a shot! Mini Ramp is/was my specialty!! Ill post some video if i ever transfer it over to the computer!

Sweet! That video was from 2 years ago...i used to go skateboard on lunch for 5 years prior to that everyday at that park...i loved all the hips and spine and they had a sweet mini that transitinoed from a 5foot to a 3 foot great for super fast grinds on the 4foot wide slope! the past 2 years i havent skated as much cause im working 50 miles from home from 10am-6pm and at the end of the day its usually too late/dark to go ride :( only one park i have found that has lights at night, but its kinda shady and all the ramps are shit metal instead of plywood with missing screws so they pop and creek and dusty wheels slide real bad on it! os ehhh......but i think i might start working some 6am-2pm again so i can go ride in the afternoon while th kids are in school :P
Oh at 20sec is a real slow shove-it, i LOOOOVEd doing those on that ramp...and now they ahve removed the huge rollin ramp, the spine, the fun box, and the camel humps :( So it SUCKS to skate there :( I should find some more of the videos from there..i was getting nice floaters over the hip ramp at the end and HUUUUUGE bigspins on the launch ramp and some nice transfers on the spine...man i miss that setup...but there is a good looking park on the other side of my new subdivision so I'll be getting back intot he swing of things again
