One year ago, one person decided to start a weekly, friendly competition of creativity and skill after an exodus from a catastrophe in a neighboring site which has no need to be remembered now.
Now, one year later, wee stand victorious, with more active members than the beginning, more quality work at display and more fierce battles in the voting polls.
This success has been because of the hard work of the past and present SOTW moderators:Tigerfan, diego, Wolf, and yours truly, which spent valuable time planning themes, preparing polls, enforcing rules and maintaining the competition in its highest level which currently enjoys.
In this occasion, I would like to thank the SOTW founder and the previous moderators, Tigerfan, diego and Wolf, for being the foundation of what the SOTW is and stands for in EP now, for making it the competition EP looks forward to every weekend, in which the forum's finest showcase their works in a fierce battle of skill.
I would also want to thank all those other members who supported by making the voting threads and theme weeks whenever any of the SOTW moderators weren't able to because of unfortunate events.
And last but never least, I would like to thank you, the graphics regulars, for there wouldn't be a competition without your entries, for making your best efforts for making art pieces worthy of admiration, for spending your time creating signatures for the viewing pleasure of the members of this unique community, and show them to the world for they to be judged against others in a democratic voting with the hope of reigning supreme and being immortalized into history by being added into our Hall of Fame.
As it was already planned for weeks now, This week's shall be the All Star Battle Spectacular meaning only the finest shall battle in this unique fight, those who have won at least 2 previous SOTW battles.
