I wonder what that PS1 looking button is for at the bottom left or is it just a re-designed home button?
the whole thing looks smoother but I try not to think of myself as a dumb ape that buys something just because it is shiny or smooth.
I would consider that a bonus but not a direct basis for a complete purchase. Especially not one of 200 or more dollars

yeah. Pads are sunken and the model has an overall matte finish. That is at least an improvement over PSP-2000.
Sony sure is a big time kill joy. They should at least extend its range of supported formats and allow more applications. Even if wee have to buy them from PS Store.. like a PSP PDF reader and all.
