Anyways i wanted to ask, could a heavily fragmented pagefile be the cause of this because i ran a defrag with diskeeper and it keeps on saying critical on my c drive but not d or s drive

well you managed to isolate it to SP1... so it shouldn't be the case..
I highly recommend defragmenting your drive however.
Im not sure everything seems ok but i still gota install sp1 :(

Yeah that could happen. Try using JKDefrag or PageDefrag to take care of the page file, and try installing SP1 again. (Even though it might get fragmented again because of the install)
yh that's what i was thinking . Is there anyway to fix the problem? will that pagedefrag work?
