those specs actually aren't far off from my old computer.
My old computer had a 380mhz processor
4 gig hard drive and
128 megs of ram
and a video card with 64 megabytes of ram.
it also cam fully equipped with windows millennium and the worlds oldest monitor

Battery Life?

20 minutes, it runs on AA's :P

I wonder how it compares to 2nd hand prices...

With a MIPS processor, you're going to need applications designed specifically for the laptop...

I'm sure aldi's or lidl's could rival that no probs......
