lolz, pretty much..... mmzzzz japanese and ther good customer service.... lolz... didnt goto their maccas though
Hell, i eat fastfood like once every 1/2 year.

I get a ~5 dish chinese meal every dinner.

And about comparing how much fastfood sucks, i find it tasting worse here (Australia) compared to China. BUT fastfood here is very cheap, compared to lets say, going to a resturaunt. Western style fastfood (McDonalds, KFC...) in China is a lot more expensive comparatively, similar to lower class resturants, so if u were to compare based on alternatives, fastfood is better here.

That's mainlad China though, i don't know about Hongkong. Lower class resturants (Some higher class ones cost $$$$ x 10) in China are like 10 times cheaper than resturants in Australia, and fastfood in China is only 1-2 times cheaper.
mmzzzz.... how is china expensive, oh wellzz.. maybe cause the currency is like 1$aus = alot in china.... anyways.. not gonan eat in china after hearing the rumours (eg. fake eggs/watermelon,etc)

Aus.. mmzzz.. i know resturants very cheap in aus.. can have 24$ meal with a friend, so 12$ each and u get 4 people share of food
HK$ 30 will get you a complete large meal incl mikshake @ mcdonalds. in europe that would be HK$ 70 or somet, and in a restaurant in HK at least HK$ 100-150
lolz, i still find that cheap.. maybe cause of the currencies, and how aus money is rising lika bitch lately..... (more profits on my R4s ^^)

Prices in China are not expensive, they are very cheap in comparison to Australia.
$1 in Australia is like about $6.4 in China. I China, ordinary restaurants charge about 10-20 Chinese yuan for each dish, (prices vary a lot depending where u are. In tourist districts, they are often FAR more expensive). Chinese restaurants in Australia charge like $10-15 for each dish. so yeah, a lot cheaper.

Lower class restaurants (e.g. small shabby looking restaurant on the side of road). charge like 5-10 yuan for each dish.

Also depends on what dishes u choose. Some foods can cost like 1000yuan.

U can get a bowl of noodles for usually around 5-10 Chinese yuan.

So yeah, with the same price ur paying for a full meal at Macdonald's, u can get like 5 dishes in a poo poo restaurant, or get 5 bowls of noodles. U can't do that in Australia. And that's what i mean by western fast food being comparatively more expensive in China. Comparative is the key word. Id u look at it absolutely, both is cheaper in China. (note it's different with eastern fast food, such as noodles, dumplings, rice+stuff... It's the "western" bit that makes it expensive.)

How the hell do u make fake eggs/watermelon... the only thing related to watermelons and eggs I've heard are people coating watermelon with sugar water to make poo poo watermelon taste good.

But on the other hand, I've heard of some pretty bad stuff about meat.

Is this for a western restaurant? I don't really go to western restaurants that often, and often when i do, it's by invitation, so i have no idea how they charge. But i don't think they're that cheap.
its asian ^^ u get to eat the dumplings and sil long bou, (my pronouce is poo poo)
anyways...

yea, apparently, in china... on news.. say they put some liquid into the watermelon to make it grow faster, and eggs with isn't hatched by chickens lolz.... and lotsa other nasties...

and 1$ is 6$china?? atm its 1$ = 6.50$ HK, and i know HK is mroe than china
Just used currency converter

1.00 AUD=6.41522 CNY (chinese yuan)
1.00 AUD=6.49958 HKD

so yes, it seems Chinese RMB is larger than Hongkong dollar now. Probably due to economic bloom and poo poo.
Double post
The converter i used was

$1 = ~6yuan was some time ago (4 months), when i went to china. yeah, it seems the Australian dollar is worth more now, probably due to it's massive rise in value lately.

Put liquid in watermelon to make it grow faster.  I guess that's possible.
Hatch eggs without chicken... wouldn't that cost more than to do it with chickens...

EDIT: Updated the last post, putting in the current exchange rate, and some re-wording too to make some other stuff more clear.
