Bwahahaha. That would be terrifying. Invisible people randomly deleting my
system files or something? No, my first thought was that I randomly deleted
some important file or something, but as far as I can tell, everything appears
to be fine, nothing important has been deleted. The only scary explanation
is that someone had a rootkit hiding a bunch of info on my computer and just
randomly decided to delete it. :-/

But I doubt it, my connection isn't really stable enough to support something
like that and zone alarm + mcAfee should say something about that. Err. I think.
windows just fudges up storage all the time, don't worry about it.
;) I'm not. Windows might just have automatically cleared
restore points or something when it got low.
Could be... I turn System Restore off - I personally don't trust it.

Could also be a partially corrupt HDD...

also i don't use sysrestore either, screw it it never saved me and i format regularly anyway
yah its def that program that make temp files
