I wouldnt say a new era, this is very similar to circular so not new but a good era ^_^ (or not, whatever you like).

Theme is good, some pointers:

As all the text is in the middles and the clock too, it must all be centered. Plus maybe put an icon in between the text and the main icon, or just an icon behind the selected text. While browsing images, and enter a folder make the folder split. (Don't know the exact offset but just replace all 6's with 400 or summick in the content_browser.prx). Maybe make the infobar a bit more pronounced, ie make it stand out more, just by strengthening the edges or summick. I think you should try to keep the main icon in the same place at all times as the (awesome) busy icon lies inside it. Can't think of anything else, apart from customizing video browsing and all other stuff..hehe

Overall nice theme, the main icon transitions and busy icon are nice.

Now this is wat I call Beta Testing. Love the review....

I  mean wat to edit in the common_gui.prx?

Definitly not a new era. The text is a bit odd. I can't read some things that well and USB Connection looks like USK Connection. Battery icon doesn't look that great. Although I hate the horizontal scrolling (people don't get that there cannot be a circular XMB with good horizontal scrolling), I give you points for at least making the transition not 'jumpy'. Change the 'Space between main and subicons' to 0 so that the settings menu looks right. Some of the submenu icons don't look that great. The most annoying thing in submenus is that the stripes in the photo menu folder icons stand out too much. I'd also say move the text over to the left so its closer to the main icon.

Oh and when you scroll horizontally across the XMB, the main icons move just a tiny bit (like 1 or 2 pixels) vertically. And you need a different loading icon.
