dubbing is so worthless :( by the way does anyone know where to get pokemon in jap /engsub cause ive only ever seen the dutch dub

One thing about dubbing, is the amount they charge for it...  Here, anime DVDs are about AU$30 each, and there's like 4 episodes per disc.

Vote assuming that u can them for free, otherwise, it wouldn't be balanced.

The purpose behind this poll is to find out whether people prefer dubs or subs, not taking price into account. It is not intended to be a poll about whether people prefer to PAY for dubs, or get subs for free. (anyone want to change their votes?)


And yes, i completely agree that anime DVD pricing sucks poo poo here, and it's more often 3 episodes per disk. I never bought an anime DVD, and never will if they don't dramatically change the prices.

I prefer Jap voice + eng subs... slowly getting hang of the Japanese language, so will eventually switch to RAW.. that'll be a little tough, but good practice!

i actually think it depends on the anime. heres two examples
dub - the Love Hina dub is horrible and will make your ears bleed... Kitsune does not a southern USA accent and they made Naru sound like an airhead when shes in college.. and that's just two

sub - the Serial Experiments Lain sub is just hard to understand... you would hae to see the show to know what i mean... the dub voices are actually pretty good except a few parts, but all in all i like the dub better...
