ExBu, i thought there was no plugins support in 3.30 OE-A (+ OE-A') and also 3.40 OE-A?
There has always been plugin support in OE firmware. 3.30 and 3.40 broke a few plugins, but all of the ones I use have been updated to work in both.
do you know which of the plugins i listed that are compatible with 3.40 OE-A?

vcscheatdevice.prx GTA:VCS cheatdevice -
Doesn't even work in 3.10 OE-A
battery.prx Shows remaining battery level and time on the battery icon -
If it's the one I use, it works.
scep.prx a whole lot of stuff -
Has been updated for 3.40 OE-A
irsmp3.prx mp3 playing -
IMHO, this NEVER worked for me except in the XMB. It's SUPPOSED to mute game sound, but it never did for me. Just played an MP3 alongside the game audio.
capture.prx screen capture -
Works fine
antiupdate.prx removes the UMD Update function thing -
Works fine
USBon.prx access USB Mode anywhere in the XMB -
Never been lazy enough to need it.

You're choice, really. 3.40 OE-A doesn't really break anything. You can still use topmenu icons and stuff. But POPS (the official Sony PS1 emulator) saves in 3.40 won't be compatible with previous versions of POPS. But unless you use the popsloader plugin, you won't be worried about this anyway.

i don't really care/use about POPS that much. and does 3.40 use every thing 3.30? i mean if i download a 3.30 topmenu, does it work on 3.40?
side-note: what firmware are you on Tenshigami?
by the way: for all the 3.40 and 3.30 written above, i mean the CF version not Sony Official, i just couldn't be bothered writing OE-A or OE-A' after them
and ExBu i think i will actually take up that offer to know how to use CIntros, because i can't be bothered searching in google etc to find a tut

^ I'm on 3.40 OE-A. And yes, 3.30 topmenus work on it.
Though I had the ol' semi-brick from manually flashing mine. Using a homebrew app to flash it worked though.

Mostly just POPS fixes. Sony's kinda run out of features to give the PSP besides shameless PS3 interactivity.
