Man, my hand hurts. I got a splinter right above my thumb, and when I went to go take it out, it broke off in half. Then, my body started to heal over the half still in there, then, my body tried to push the splinter back out, meaning that it's going through new skin, and then it got stuck again, and now the area around it is all swollen. God dammit.

I also had pain today, the sharp end of a paperclip somehow went right through my finger, came out the other side. was... interesting.
i stapled my thumb to a piece of paper a few years ago. that was especially painful as there were 2 punctures in the skin and because the piece of paper in question was a cheque. I've also mashed my finger in a high-rpm cpu fan before. I've since swapped it for a slower and quieter (but still high airflow) fan that's a little more finger friendly. especially as i insist on working on my computer while its turned on...
