... of the Macbook Pro

Alright, I've been using this thing for almost 24 hours, and Here are my feelings on it.

First off, lets look at the external. This thing is built like a tank for such a slim laptop. It's only an inch thick when closed, but it's really, really sturdy. The keyboard is different, but after a bit of typing I got used to it, and now it feels pretty comfortable.

Now for the internal bits. Battery life is excellent, I got over 3 hours with Wifi and Bluetooth on, and brightness turned all the way up, and sound turned all the way up. Also, this thing is fast. Like really fast. It might just be that my desktop is 2 years old, but this thing is awesomely fast. The graphics hardware is good for a laptop this thin, and the 2GB of RAM I currently have (I'll upgrade it to 4GB next month) is really good for pretty much anything I want to do. Did I mention this thing runs basically any Windows game I have (Boot Camp and XP) like a dream? Sorry, that last bit isn't really specific to the Macbook Pro, just to more powerful computers in general lol.

Now for my issues: Speaker quality on the laptop isn't too good, but I guess my hopes were a bit high. Also, this thing gets hot. Really hot. Of course, I think that was mainly because I used it for 12 hours non-stop without putting it to sleep or anything, so I'm partially to blame.

Overall, despite its minor flaws, it's a good laptop, and I highly recommend it Madwin
Notebooks are meant to get hot, meant to be on a table.

And I don't really think they are built like a tank. Using one now and I can see it beat up so much. AND it's not an old one either.

Well, I was just saying that it got REALLY hot, but I ran it for 12 hours straight. And tank may be a bit of an overexaggeration, but it sure as hell is built stronger than my friend's laptop. I mean, some guy ran over his macbook pro with a car, and even though the screen was cracked, everything else still worked fine.

And why are you still marked as away?
I still am away. going to be back home by monday.

Sleeping on a sofa for 3 weeks does suck.
